After this, I'm not sure how much of anything survived this winter ... normally I have *tons* of chives that need to be divided and could go to happy homes, same for thyme and oregano ... as of right now, none of them are looking very hopeful at bouncing back (though, I'll be surprised if the chives don't come back, they've survived everything)

Great! My sage looks like it made it, but I have doubts about some of mine too. Lots of flowers/perennials especially:
great blue lobelia, perennial sunflower, corydalis, bleeding heart... some is still covered in the receding glacier.
